When sending out birth announcements, send one to the President of the United States and the First Lady. Within a few weeks, you will receive a lovely little note in the mail.
Both of my kids have these notes From President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush. The hubs and I have a note from Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary. I couldn't stand Clinton (he's a disgusting pig of a man), and I still don't like him, but I thought it was an important thing to do.
