Bits of Radomness

I was tagged last week by DesignHer Momma. I don't have a lot of secrets, but here are some little bits of randomness about me:

1) I am going to be 35 in a few months. Rather than dreading it, I am looking forward to it. I want to relish in the half way mark to 70!

2) I have a tattoo (gasp!). That's right, ladies, I do. I got it 12 years ago on a whim. I had just graduated from college and one of my girlfriends and I wanted to do something crazy that would bond us (darn painful bonding experience - now I bond over martinis). Anyway, it's a purple quarter moon surrounded by 3 stars just to the lower right of my belly button. It's an area that is never exposed to the public (truly never, ever), so no one sees it but me, the hubs and our kids. I love it still and don't regret it! Hubs can't stand it.

3) I have a recurring dream about dialing a telephone and needing to hang up repeatedly because I keep dialing the number incorrectly.

4) If I only had one food left to eat for the rest of my life it would be cheese. Think of all the different kinds of cheese I could eat! Of course, from all that cheese I would be all bound up and my colon would explode causing me not to have a very long life anyway.

5) I have lived in two New England states and in both of them I have heard conversations similar to this:

person 1: I love cheese.
person 2: So don't I.

Let me translate that for person 2, "So do I." This, my bloggy friends drives me absolutely insane. So insane that it takes all my power not to correct them. How can anyone hear that and think it a correct use of the English language?

6) I carried around a giant stuffed rabbit during my childhood (and beyond - he actually went to college with me). He was my best friend. My parents use to say they were going to take him to my wedding; they made good on that and had a tux made for him and he sat in the front pew. My Mom picked him up and walked out of the church with him and held him in the receiving line - no kidding! Mr. Trix was my first love, so it makes sense.
