Chocolate Covered Strawberries:
Add a tablespoon of shortening to your chocolate chips before melting them. It will keep your chocolate smooth and easy to work with.
Make sure your strawberries are super cold. Line a tray with wax paper, line the strawberries on the tray and put them in the freezer for 15 minutes. Remove them from the freezer and dip them in the melted chocolate. Line them back on the tray. Put them back in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to harden.
For a little adult zing in your strawberries, inject them with a chocolate liqueur after dipping them. You could use Godiva white or milk chocolate liqueur.
