When making strawberry pie, even though the recipe says to let the strawberry glaze cool, don't let it cool too much. If you let it cool completely, you won't end up with the nice, smooth and pretty pie they show in pictures. You'll end up with one that tastes good, but that looks kinda globby. Like mine!
