Tuesday's Tip Jar

Take the time to make applesauce with your kids. Use your old apple corer, peeler, slicer (yep, the one you have way in the back of your cabinet). Kids love to help with that. Dump your peeled and sliced apples into a crock pot and add some 100% apple juice. Turn the crock pot on low and let the apples simmer all day. At the end, add a little bit of brown sugar. You'll have a delish treat and a great memory!

I'll bet that makes the house smell yummy too!

I'm pretty sure though that I didn't even know the peeler/corer/slicer thing existed.
