Teething

Well it's begun. Ladybug is the perfect baby. I mean if you could order the model you wanted, you would order her. She is content all the time, smiles at everyone, voice shrieks of joy when I walk into the room, giggles when her neck is tickled just right, tells you it's time for bed by rubbing her eyes. She is wonderful. There is very little crying from her. If she wakes in the middle of the night she coos for a few minutes then goes back to sleep.

Given all of that, imagine my surprise when my angel woke Saturday morning at 2:30am screaming. Oye! What the heck is going on. Then I did what all "cry it out" moms do. I lied there in my nice cozy bed thinking about how long I should let her cry. The internal debate was fierce. Because she never does that, I went in to check on her. I ended up feeding her a bottle - GASP!!! I didn't want to do it, but there was not calming her.

Part way through the day Saturday, I decided to feel around on her lower gums. Sure enough...there it was. One little guy about to break free and another I could see coming to the surface. That's right ladies, two teeth at once. Aren't we lucky?

Sunday was worse than Saturday. She was beside herself in misery. The one thing she had going for her were the two 2-hour naps she took.

Monday was slightly better, but only one little guy has broken free. It's not over. This is just the beginning of good times to come for at least another year.

Oh boy..

I know a lot of people who swear by teething tablets although I never tried them.

I was going to recommend the teething tablets. They worked very well for us. Good luck!
