All About the Hubs

I found this different kind of MeMe over at My Inner Bitsy, and I thought it looked like fun. It's a chance to showcase the man I have been with for 10 years and been married to for 8. There's not much I don't know about him and not much he doesn't know about me. There was only one question on here I didn't know the answer to, but I bet he wouldn't give me an answer if I asked.
No tagging on this - do it if you want - it's fun to introduce the world to your hubs.

1. He’s sitting in front of the tv, what is on the screen?
Fox News or flipping between the Patriots, the Red Sox and Nascar (Sunday Sofa Butt is what I like to call it).

2. You’re out to eat what kind of dressing does he get on his salad?
Blue Cheese. It's always blue cheese. I don't think I have known him to get anything else.

3. What’s one food he doesn’t like?
Black Olives. It's been 10 years since I have had black olives on my pizza. He also can not touch the skin of a peach - gives him the heebeejeebees!

4. You go out to the bar, what does he order?
He asks about he beer on tap. Usually he orders a Sam Adams beer, but during the cooler months he orders a Guinness.

5. Where did he go to high school?
In a small town in NH. I went to his 10 year reunion and it was eye-opening, yet I agreed to move here (imagine that)!

6. What size shoe does he wear?
I really don't know and I really don't care. I try to stay away from his shoes. I have given up telling him what kind of shoes to wear.

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be?
Money. He's pretty good at collecting money. In all seriousness, he doesn't collect anything. My mother thinks he should collect bridges and corkscrews, so she makes it her mission to buy him bridges and corkscrews, which drives him insane and only inspires her to buy more (she's tricky that way).

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
Ham and cheese with mustard if it is sandwich bread. If it is a sub, then it is ham and cheese with all the veggies and mayo - and don't you dare put mustard on the sub style sandwich. I have made this mistake, and it's ugly.

9. What would this person eat every day if he could?
Steak. He loves his steak. Although I tested his theory of being able to eat beef everyday and he was wrong. He can't. When I was preggo with Little Man, I couldn't stand the sight of chicken or pork, so we had beef for 9 months. He was so sick of it by the end and was begging for chicken. He even ordered chicken when we went out to a nice dinner.

10. What is his favorite cereal?
Yikes - I don't know. We don't really eat a lot of cereal. When I buy a sugary cereal he tells me that he never go that kind when he was a kid. My response is usually something like, "wow, that's a shame. My mom always let us pick out whatever cereal we wanted."

11. What would he never wear?
Capri pants. A friend of ours, who will remain anonymous once wore capri pants and will never live it down.

12. What is his favorite sports team?
Baseball - Red Sox
Football - Patriots
Basketball - Celtics
Hockey - Bruins
Nascar - Jeff Gordon

I, by the way, do not enjoy sports at all and can't understand the anger he expresses at the television when something "bad" happens. My "it's just a game" saying is met with very evil scowls.

13. Who will he vote for?
McCain/Palin - He's a hardcore Republican.

14. Who is his best friend?
I'm gonna say me, because why wouldn't I be?

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn’t do?
React so sensitively and emotionally to any and everything. Spend money. Want to buy gifts.

16. How many states has he lived in?
Two - New Hampshire and Massachusetts

17. What is his heritage?
He's a mixed breed of white.

18. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake?
Red Velvet, because that's what he got for birthdays as a child.

19. Did he play sports in high school?
Track and Ski Team. I think he played football for one year.

20. What could he spend hours doing?
Blogging, computer games, tinkering in his garage workshop, mowing the lawn (even though he doesn't like to admit that he enjoys it)

You know, my Hubs doesn't eat black olives either. I wonder what's up with that? I think they are delish!

That's a cute idea. It's nice to hear about the "silent" partners!
